81% of Sales Managers, 91% of AEs Predict Ad Revenue Growth for 2010
Advertising professionals – both ad sales managers and their account executives out on the streets – are expecting positive revenue growth in 2010 as the economy and the ad market continues to recover. Eighty-one percent of advertising sales managers and 91% of account executives expect revenue growth in 2010 versus 2009.
According to the AdMall Local Advertisng Sales Outlook, 39% of managers anticipate revenue growth of one to five percent in 2010 and another 23% expect an increase of six to ten percent. Only 19% say they expect flat or declining revenues this year, versus 32% who said the same about 2009.

Account executives are even more optimistic. Thirty two percent expect increases of one to five percent, another 27% project six to ten percent growth. Only 9% of AEs say they anticipate flat or declining sales versus 24% last year.

The AdMall Local Advertising Sales Outlook was conducted December 7 – 19, 2009. The sample size for this survey was 1,180 AdMall clients across the United States, including 203 advertising sales managers and 712 account executives.
